I have a Toshiba Tecra 8200 laptop with a crappy Trident video card. This video card doesn't work with a lot of games and i would like to replace it. Is this possible on a laptop? If so, where can i buy a new video card? (Best Buy, Circuit City, etc. didn't have any) Can anyone recommend a decent one for around $100? Is it hard to replace?

Thanks in advance.

Sorry. Not possible. About the only thing you can upgrade in a laptop is the hard drive and even that's tough in some cases.

Depends on the laptop.

On Dell's you can upgrade the hard drive, video, processor and ram. You can buy the Dell parts from Dell Spare Parts.

Not sure about the Toshiba. I would see if they have a support forum to get in touch with other owners. Maybe some of them have info that Toshiba probably would not give you. I would suspect no though... In the case of Dell, you have to make sure they have a BIOS for your model that supports the video card you want to upgrade.
