I'm trying to connect my firewire and USB from my tower to my Mobbo but it seems quite difficult. I have a K8N Neo2 939 and Thermaltake case. I've tried following the instructions inside my manual but i couldnt find the exact connection. This is where my problem arrises.
On the tower i have a bunch of wires hanging down and i can't find the same labeling inside my manuel. First only have a two 5pin USB cables which doesnt really match up with anything on the board. I can only seem to find a 10 pin connector on my mobo. The closes i found in my user's guide is on page 2-19 for JUSB1 but it's a 10 pin box compared to the 5pin on my tower usb. Also the usb doesnt have any lable on it besides "USB" so i dont know which way to stick it in.
As for the firewire i have a bunch of tiny little strings hanging down labled; TPB*, TPB, TPA*, TPA, Ground, and then i have VG and VP. Both the VG and the VP have an extra VG and VP wire hanging out the tip of it.
Now for the firewire inside my usider's guide on page 2-20 the labeling of the pins does not match up with my wires on the case. TPA+, TPA-, Ground, Ground, TPB+, TPB-, Cable power, Cable power, Key(no pin), and Ground. As you can my problem. In the manual it uses minus signs as compared to the tower using multiplication signs. And i still haven't found anything in my manual that has a PIN for VG and VP.
