Newbie IDE question

I've got 2 7200 RPM hard drives, the main 20 GB, the auxiliary 80 GB. I've also got a 52x CD-RW drive. How should I set the master/slave settings on my two IDE channels to optimize speeds? I was thinking:
IDE 1: Master 20 GB, Slave 80 GB
IDE 2: Master RW drive
Is there a better way to configure this?
