Hey all,
I was just wondering if you all could offer some cheap and/or quick optimizations for my home network. I am a poor uni student living in a 2-story condo, and unfortunately my desktop is having connectivity issues with my wireless.
My laptop gets about 3 bars (out of 5) when upstairs, and 4 while downstairs. However, my desktop gets about 1 to 2 bars while upstairs, leading me to wonder if it's a hardware issue on my desktop or whatnot.
It should also be noted that my router is a linksys WRT54G, and my desktop adapter is a D-link DWL-G520 Rev. B (about 5 years old now).
Thanks!
