Newbie guitar songs...

Been playing guitar for a whole week now. I learned most of the simple chords and the power chords. I am doing lessons from a CD-ROM but getting sick of playing lame folk songs.

What are some good rock songs that are easy for newbies? I can play every Social Distortion song D A G - D A G - repeat Also picked up a couple AC/DC songs.

id say learn home grown songs. they have very easy songs, to intermediate songs, to hard for an intermediate guitar player solos.

remember everything off act your age and newer is tuned down half-step.
