Newbie Guide?

Any newbie guides or post that are good to read? I've searched and can't find all that much that really explains what the settings are and the cause/effect.

I have:

ABit IC7- Max3
2.8c P4
1gb PC4000 Mem

Now where to start..

bump. this is my first post here and i'd like to learn about overclocking. any comprehensive guides out there? or any really informative threads? i'd rather find a good read than ask you guys too many noobie questions😀

Just use the search function and you likely will find one of these topics per day...The abit ic7 is quite similar to this board except the max3 has superior onboard voltage regulation and more vdimm adjustments to work with...However it is similar enough to foolow the advice in those threads for bios options and what not...
