I have just built a new pc based on the Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3R. I am trying to confirm my memory settings and I have read that you need to use the Cntrl-F1 sequence to enter the advanced settings in the BIOS. I'm not sure how to do this. If I enter the BIOS setup screen, then enter Cntrl-F1, the screen blinks but nothing else happens. If I hit Cntrl-F1 during the boot sequence nothing happens. What's the magic formula here?

The system boots and runs fine, but I want to check the memory config. I am using Corsair DDR2 Twin 2X

OK, I got the CNTRL-F1 thing figured out and found the memory timings in the MIT menu. My memory says it will support 4-4-4-12, but the default config is coming up at 5-5-5-18. Do I simply go into manual mode and set the timings at 4-4-4-12, or do I need to somehow change the memory voltage. The memory I am using is Corsair TWIN2x2 048-6400C4

Go manual to 444 12, and increase memory voltage from 1.8 to 2.1. You need to add 0.3 volts.
