Newbie ebay question #3: Some biatch ripped off my images... how long will it take to punish this guy?

So you guys are telling me the fact that ebay has a link to report someone who steals content/images from your listing, they won't do anything about that? What's the point of that?

I have had a couple of occasions to contact ebay and bitch about something. Both times I got canned responses that didn't even begin to address my specific problem. My guess: unless you noticed someone selling plutonium with included ballistic missile building instructions I very much doubt they will give a sh!t.

They know how to get their money from you, and once they get paid, they could really give a sh1t if you do or not.

if they were linking to the picture you host, then replace it with some raunchy gay porn or something. If they just 'borrowed' the picture, then I wouldn't care. Lesson learned, start watermarking stuff if you care.

Several times here. IIRC, someone here had the winning bid on just such an auction, and contacted the seller about the giant "Buy one get one free" on the picture.
