you think the freezer i30 is quieter/better than the hyper evo than?

can't the hyper evo do silent mode as well...or would this just be specific to the freezer?

Yeah, I do think i30 is better. Hyper 212 has a higher starting RPM and higher RPM cap as well, it will always be a bit louder, regardless of silent mode.

However given the potential RAM issue, I'd actually go with the Frio Silent 14. Hope this helps! EDIT: reviews to show how quiet it is:
