I'm building my first computer...Two previous computers owned were both Dells (a P100 and a Cel500)

I'm not planning on oc'ing. Will 1 or 2 fans do?

How loud will this be compared to a typical Dell comp?

Any case/fan suggestions? From what I've gathered, the #/type of fans determines the "loudness" of the computer, correct?

The computer's going to be in the bedroom w/ my wife, so I don't want it to be annoyingly loud 🙂 (ok, she doesn't, lol)

You should at least have 1 intake fan and 1 exhaust. The panaflo 80mm L1A fans are very quiet. You can get them at teamawe. This case is really nice.
 
I have Panaflo L1A fans and they really are nice and quiet. And they move mucho air. I really don't think anyone can build a better fan. Maybe I'm wrong though.🙂
