Newbe question about overclocking RAM

How do you do it? Do you have to go into the BIOS to set the speed? My RAM is 2.5 CAS. Please advise?

Thanks

Yes, it's in the BIOS. Kick it up a few MHz and test it. If everything is stable then kick it up again and test it...rinse and repeat. If you start to get errors back the timings off and/or kick up the DIMM voltage a notch.

Also, you want to run the FSB and RAM at the same speed for optimal performance, so you're better off just setting the RAM:FSB ratio to 1:1 and playing with the FSB.
