I have a P4 northwood 2.0ghz (400fsb) on an ASUS P4S533 with 512mb of Kingston DDR 266.
I'm trying to overclock my chip to 2.66 (533fsb). I'm told that this is pretty easy with these p4's.
Sisoft reports this about my chip:

Processor(s)
Model : Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.00GHz
Co-Processor (FPU) : Built-in
Speed : 2.02GHz
Performance Rating : PR2219 (estimated)
Type : Standard
Packaging : FC µPGA478
Rated Speed/FSB : 2000MHz / 4x 100MHz
Multiplier : 20x
Generation : 7th (7x86)
Model Information : P4N (Northwood) Pentium 4 1.6-3G 1.5V
Revision/Stepping : 2 / 4 (9)
Stepping Mask : B0
Microcode : MU0F240B

I don't know if this particular chip is good for OC'ing. Maybe someone could tell me :)
Now, here's my problem:
I can't get my system to boot up when i change the FSB to 533. My asus board has a speech POST reporter.. and it tells me "System failed due to CPU overclocking".
I've tried everything i can thinkof: (Upping the voltage, playing with the memory frequency ratio, ddr voltage ect.) 20 dif. combinations +
No matter what, it won't boot up.
My mobo doesn't have ajustable pci/agp frequency.. so i can't set the fsb to anything in between 100/133 without messing that up right?
Also, i think that the problem might lie with my motherboard. If you notice above, sisoft reports my cpu as running at 2.02ghz, and wincupid tells me that my fsb is actually at 102 or something... but my mobo is set to 100. Also, if anyone is familiar with asus, they have this "asus probe" software that tells you voltage, speed and fan info.. well all the values are messed up in that program.. totally out of whack.
I have heard that asus boards are notorious for wrong values and stuff.. so maybe this is normal. I don't know.

So... any thoughts? How can i get this OC?
Recomendations?
Thanks a bunch!
