Ok guys,

Take a look at my hardware in my sig and tell me if i can run any higher than i am currently running (2315.23 mhz) system clock is at 210.48 mhz, multiplier at 11x, system bus is at 420.95 ddr. i wanna get the most stable/ fast combo outa this system.

very newbis but i just started OCing with my new system

My advice is to use temp monitoring software, and run Prime95 for at least thirty minutes to let everything get saturated with heat. Keep an eye on it! Good airflow through the case is as important as a good cpu cooler. Besides having good airflow through the case, I hung a 120mm fan (53cfm) between the HDD and cpu, aimed at a 45 degree angle toward the cpu/chipset. The case has three 38 cfm 80mm's - two in rear and one in HDD box.

When you raise core voltage above 1.75, let your disposable cash be your guide. I've never damaged a processor, but it does happen. Low temps are good insurance.

put your fsb as high as it will go, then start raising your multiplier. dont put your vcore above 1.75 it shouldn't need to go that high unless you want to watercool or something
