Two questions:

1. I get on AT from my cell using Tapatalk, and that lets me see a list of "Latest Posts" which I can refresh. How do I do this in desktop viewing? Is it even possible?

2. Technical/etiquette question: Is it frowned upon to link to threads from other forums in a post? Or is that ok.

2. Usually OK, depending on what it is. Ebay linking is not OK.
