I realize I may be flamed for this, but hopefully some nice, helpful people will reply :D

I'm having a hard time finding an article that directly answers this question. How is the architecture of the 965/975 mobos setup between the cpu/fsb/ram? Meaning, if I up the fsb to OC the CPU, how does this affect the ram speed? Is there a memory divider, or some other way for it to run asynchronously? I have to admit the change over to DDR2 and all these new frequencies is confusing a part-time hardware geek like me. I need to catch up :(

I think there's pretty much always an option to run using a memory divider. With the 939 A64's using a divider had basically no impact on performance. I don't know if this is true or not for Conroe.

Most people looking to OC Conroe are looking at DDR2-800 instead of the defautl DDR2-533 so that they can run 1:1 up to 400 MHz FSB. I think.
