It sounds to me like the wife got out of the car but was in the process of drowning, while the kid was still trapped in the car which had sunk too far down for the man to reach him so he brought his wife back to shore before she drowned.

Wow, I read the story but it still didn't make sense (Sounded like he couldn't get to his son anyway). Anyway if it was a thing like my wife or my son... I'd save my son without hesitation first. I could never live with saving my wife and not saving my son.

I agree with you. I think its a really crappy situation to be in, and hope to goodness I dont ever have to go through that - but I woulda have saved my child first.

But I'd just like to say most thread replies are grossly inconsistent with reality. 90% of ATOTers would first make a thread with no poll & pics and after OP finally posted a poll, 90% of responders would pick the alkemyst option.

Exactly. ATOTers would get the call that their wife and son are drowning then post on ATOT who to save first with a poll then everyone picks the nef option.
