That is physical abuse quite a bit different from verbal BS on the internet. Words do nothing. Yes I think there is something wrong that they allow words to drive them to extreme measures such as suicide...
I was commenting on your post where you mentioned physical bullying.

Oh, but the law is much broader than just that... No such thing as an accidental murder BTW.

Murder = the unlawful premeditated killing of one human being by another.

I am saying both of these things, so you're simply repeating what I just suggested.

So, let's continue: Say some psychopath intentionally (this means "not accidentally") coerces a person that they know very well to be mentally fragile and unstable into suicide, through very deliberate and very directed verbal and mental abuse. And in no uncertain terms--such that the intent is rather plain as posted or written down.

How is that not the same as intent to murder? Do you think such a person is justified in claiming "well, that was an accident. How was I to know they were some weak person?"

I'm not all that interested if the law goes too far when I ask this question...that's something else. I'm simply addressing your refusal to accept that this probably is a real problem and that your denial is couched in the assumption that adolescence today is anything like the adolescence you experienced. Imagine, then, what your parents think about "the weaklings" that they raised (TVs and Microwaves! lucky spoiled jerks!), and their parents before them (Food, savings, and no War! what a bunch of pussies!), and on, and on...

In your very limited specific case above yes it could be considered as manslaughter or murder perhaps as outlined below as you stated.

And in no uncertain terms--such that the intent is rather plain as posted or written down.

From what I have read on this law they passed, it is too broad and sweeping. Wide open for abuse. I will surrender that a law more specific in its definitions could and would be of some benefit.

I just find it hard to understand the verbal bullying on the internet thing... Like the crap said in this forum... and lots of it from you could be considered bullying.

Well, I thought we solved that issue: You (and I) are too old to appreciate.

Yes it is normal among all animals. The young sort out a pecking order through bullying. All animals do it.
So you think it's normal and healthy for humans to behave like animals?

And again, you'd be happy for a bunch of people to kick your arse everyday to display dominance over you? You'd think that normal and acceptable?

Sure, but that often leads to ostracizing the individuals.

Chimps are among the worse species in terms of how often and strongly they perform that behavior, and that is not a good thing. Incredibly competitive and brutish. Many animals do not go to those lengths and don't force out or kill those that don't fit in with the group. Chimps will kill each other, not just bully.

We don't need that in our species. It's one of the things that has led to some of our worst traits and severely hampered the progress of man. It has led to some great progress due to what the competition of war produces for technology, but, that's about it. It keeps us apart and wary of one another, and breeds extreme xenophobia.

Never-mind that the bullied kid, these days, might just show up at a school and shoot a bunch of kids. ...well, we sure can't take away his guns, obviously.

Of course, we also can't provide resources for such kids, and work to prevent this kind of bullying in the first place...because, well, they should stop being pussies.

First, we're told it isn't the guns--it's them being treated like outcasts, bullied, psychological damage. We need to fix that! Well, we can't even try to do that, because they are pussies.

I find this to be the primary problem with today's version of conservatives: Telling us everything we can't do to address an actual problem, and yet never offering a potential solution. At least democrats actively try to fix things. Misguided or not, there is more often than not a plan to address nearly all these issues from democrats. It seems that conservatives prefer to sit on their hands, pout, and watch society decay.
