Was wandering Zalman's site just now and I noticed this:

Looks like they simply took a VF900LED and put red LED's on it and chromed it like the CNPS9500 AM2.

*edit* anyone else hoping they come out with a VGA HSF that exhausts air out the second slot sometime soon?

also, who is this Fatal1ty Idiot, I see him branded on all this stuff, and it seems like a lame gimmick. . All they ever do is jack up the price, make it red color schemed, and add no benefit on most hings. (other than the Sound Ram on the X-Fi Fatal1ty) But where did this guy get his start, and should care if it has his endorsement. I mean, I understand why companies like having a pro-athelete or celebrity endorsement, but why do I care if some guy ive never heard of endorses a product.

people jealous of the guy will berate the thing but that's a pretty sweet heatsink IMO. All copper. Maybe we can scrape the fatal1ty branding off, though ;)

Fatal1ty is a pro gamer

he became known very fast when he won CPL World Tour and now has moved into business and has made a good living for himself just from gaming. I believe one year he made $200k +

Anyways, i don't see why you WOULD NOT buy this. Most people spend alot of extra cash to get a good looking case with a clear window. So, you spent the money for looks on your case...why not a cooling unit?

Well, not trying to dis on the guy but whenever you see'Fatal1ty' on it the price does go up. Its marketing. Some of the things he has lent his name to is good and some of it isnt good. Personally, I have found most of his endorsed items not of any interest to me but thats just me. Of course I dont go and buy things other famous people or atheletes endorse neither. I go by the product. What it claims to do. What other people has said it will do in actual testing and performance. /shrug
