New York commuters... need help

Heading upstate from NYC/LI... which is better (quicker/less traffic) around 630am on a weekday morning... Hutchinson River Pkwy or New England Thruway ? (Trying to hit I-684)

I'd go with the Whitestone to the Hutch to 684.
