New years eve snack foods

Any of you have traditional snack food for new years eve?

I'm old and married so the most alcohol I tend to have is a glass of wine or three, but in terms of food, we like to have what we call snack night. Its normally just the 3 kids, my wife, and I.

Rumaki
Shrimp
Cheese Ball
Lil Smokies (optional)
pizza bites
fruit and veggie tray

And, for this year

crab potstickers
Lobster bisque

What else should we make? No steaks or anything big, this is a snack night.

Afterwards, we are going to follow it up with some Guitar Hero...

cream cheese, jelly, and peppers. You can buy premade pepper jelly. Great on crackers.

For your fruit tray just get some strawberry yougurt, throw in a lot of powdered sugar and maybe some whip cream. Makes a good fruit dip.

I made some homemade crag rangoon and some pork wantons for Christmas Eve. They were delicious.

I like chips and cheese dip, shrimp and cocktail sauce, and brats on New Year's (don't snack too much on New Year's Eve). This year, we'll still be having the chips and cheese dip, but I'll be smoking a ham (or pork butt...haven't decided yet) and having it with baked sweet potatoes and black-eyed peas (my wife's family's tradition).

Just a few ideas .. I have had them all over the years ... all fantastic ....

If you live where you can make outdoor bonfires, smores are a fantastic new years celebration treat.
