I purchased an Asus A7N8X back in January with an XP2100. It overclocks nicely (shows as a 2800).

I recently purchased an XP2500 Barton. Can I get any decent OC results with the 2500 on this board or do not? What is the highest I can get given the FSB of this board? DO I just need to buy a rev 2?

Thanks.

Edit~ P.S. Running Crucial PC2700 RAM, 1 GB (2 x 512), also a PAL 8045

Just go here and selesct your motherboard and then download. Your MB version is 1.04 isn't it?
Try if you see your version in the bios download. Good luck

It looks like all revisions prior to 2.0 are lumped together. I will try it tonight...thanks for the help and the link!:D

Did the BIOS update to 1.04 and now I'm running at 200 MHz, stock voltage and 11x, and the CPU is showing as an XP3200+ in CPUID. Seems stable after doing a bunch of work (not benchmarks) last night.......

This is good for an A7N8X bought in January 2003? 11 x 200 = 2200 MHz.....:D
