I recently found that you are able to copy your contents of your windows xp install cd to a folder and then download your updates and use the command window to use the /integrate feature. You can then use the microsoft boot image and make your disk again so that you have xp sp2 as an install disk. Is this breaking rules? Has anyone had success doing this? I tried but my burning software is not making the boot image correctly so I just keep burning coasters over and over.

This program automates the process and creates an ISO. Then you can burn it to CD.

There's nothing wrong with doing it this way. MS even has instructions on their site if you want to root for it.
