This is pretty odd and I've never had it happen before and Google isn't helping me. The newly installed XP Home on an IBM ThinkPad 600E contains no Accessories menu.
Is there perhaps a setting that I'm not aware of that was for some reason defaulted to not display Acccessories? The user account is the only account on the machine (other than the Administrator account in Safe Mode) and it has all possible rights.
Here's a shot of the problem. Same thing in Classic view.
Edit: Boy do I feel stupid... looking at the system tray in the screen shot I see the Activation icon and that I haven't activated the install yet... I'm betting maybe the accessories menu stays hidden until Activation? I'll try that now.
