Cool, now all they need to do is come out with games I want to play and then I can own a console that I don't have to constantly deal with game freezes and crashing.

How about quit trolling? You had a bad experience with your 360 dying...get over it. We don't need your "fvck Microsoft" attitude in every 360 thread.

lol, didn't realize it was so bad. chill out big guy.

ps - fvck microsoft!

Sony needs to go all out and drop the PS3 down to $299 to get back in this thing.

If they did that, I'd buy one next Monday!

Really interested in the 400 dollar PS3, but I need a RAZR2.

I'd buy one today for $300. Even without exclusive games that interest me, it's worth it for the Blu-Ray, the linux, and the potential for future games.

Exactly. Well, minus the Linux, I'm not into that.

I only said next Monday, because I don't have any money till then =P

The Core would become a viable option for people w/o HDTVs, or who just don't want to spend the cash on a console.

Err...call me confused, but why is the Core now a viable option for ppl w/out HDTV's when they just now added a HDMI port?

I think he means more along hte lines that it comes w/some way to play games and save progress w/out having to go spend more $$ on accessories.

Ahh gotcha. Makes sense about it appealing more to the casual gamer...just think the Core option was never really a good idea. Least now they're including 5 Live games and a memory card.

I think the whole reason Microsoft released the Core system originally was so that they could get a segment of the market (those who weren't able to snap up a premium but wanted a 360 right away) to buy a $300 system, and spend another $100 on a hard drive, thus generating the same revenue as a premium system but without the other accessories that came with it. I'm not flaming though as I own a 360 Elite 😀
