Am I the only one that absolutely hates helmets made to look like animal or human heads? I couldn't stand watching the Chroincles of Riddick because of those stupid helmets with faces on them. The bird head helmets in this game look equally stupid to me.

ya, thats 'in game' as in the data is on the disc... no way are those real time graphics.

I see no reason to believe that it's in-game, real-time footage. If it is, then I am impressed, but I am skeptical.

looks good - i thought the movements of the soldiers were pretty realistic. i think hl2 has the game pwned as far as faces go though

The game is still 2 years away (summer 2007), and they just licensed the engine last week...

Don't be skeptical, this is the next gen of consoles. Second gen of xbox360 games will most certainly look this good. Halo 3 will EASILY look this good or better. BTW Halo 3 is due the same day as the PS3 is coming out apparently.

Yeah, it scares me that we're at the mercy of Sony on that one. I hope Bill has his programmers in order and that they are 90% done with it now and just tweaking the final 10% all the way up to the PS3 release, otherwise there's a good chance he'll look like an ass if Sony drops early (not that I think they're even close).
