Ok so after my last Topic Intel 640 or 3700+ san diego for "easy multitasking". I ordered the following parts from Germany.
1 x 0013448 HDSA 74GB Western Digital WD740GD, SATA
1 x 0016120 CamS Secure Digital 1024MB Twinmos Ultra
1 x 7762674 BLUE Belkin Bluetooth Adapter Class2 10m
1 x 0015486 DIMM DDR-RAM 2x512MB PC400 CL2 OCZ Plati
1 x 0016619 MB DFI LANParty UT nF4 Ultra-D S939
1 x 0017077 Mou Logitech MX518 Optical Mouse USB/PS2
1 x 0014644 MPEG Technisat AirStar 2 TV PCI, DVB-T
I am going to buy the CPU and GPU from here (Finland) and take the rest from my current system.
Power supply: Fortron FSP400-60PN(PF) 400W
I was going to get a san diego +3700 but now it looks like the X2s will be here in a few weeks. So my question is can DFI LANParty UT nF4 Ultra-D support dual-core CPUs?
Will it boot with stock bios if I have an X2 CPU? Or will I need to lend an older 64 CPU to be able to flash newer bios to support dual-cores?
Do you have any suggestion on what settings/timings I should run my memory?
Anything else I should take under consideration?
