There are some new design pics up on the WTC.com

The buildings are nice, but nothing earth shattering or overly exciting.

Where is Franklyn Lloyd Wright when you need him?

They should have been rebuilt similar to what was there before perhaps like the design that Donald Trump proposed with the buildings footprint offset from the previous buildings and they should have been done long ago.

In my opinion it would have been a much greater defiant slap in the face to terrorists than all the bombs, bullets, and hundreds of billions being spent on the current war.

I agree that they should have been built faster.

But I am not so sure one the exact copies. Those designs were outdated and rather bland. I would have been happy with a matching pair of nice shinny new towers to replace the old ones.

Shiny, bigger, better, doesn't matter, right now that hole is symbol of weakness that can be effectively used by terrorists as a victory symbol and effective recruiting tool on their part.

Can't do a search right now but look up how fast the Empire State building was put up in the 1930's using that era's technology, I think it was under 2 years.

I submitted a similar proposal to Trump. I didn't know he proposed that. Thanks

My was we build the towers immediately as they were (with improved integral design of course) in their existing spots but at 109 floors instead of 110 because the souls of all those that perished would forever occupy each tower.

I also later added to the proposal that the tower of lights be added to the roof of each.

I also agree that the billions and billions spent on the false war should've been spent re-building those towers immediately and bolstering our borders and security at home.
