Article here.

President Barack Obama attended the summit to sell a US-based Trans-Pacific Partnership excluding China. He didn't. The American led-partnership became a party to which no-one came.
Instead, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, plus China, India, Japan, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand, will form a club and leave out the United States.

I hope the reporting on this is just REALLY blowing it out of proportion.
Anybody have another take on this?

Sounds like a bunch of crap to me.
I hope so. I was hoping that someone in here would be able to tear it apart, having already read a rebuttal. I suppose the so called 'facts' should be testable. Time to look I guess.

I take it your bookshelves are filled with whatever drivel Regnery offers.

I took it as an unintended confession that how you react to the Regnery is his reaction to what the government says, stupidly done so that by mocking you he was also mocking himself. Personally, I think a certain amount of skepticism is warranted all over the place. I for example no longer pay the slightest attention to any thing I say.

Seems reasonable. Other than the fact that Obama attended, the piece is pretty much fact free.

It's just another attempt to paint Obama as a failure, and a pretty lame one at that.
