I'll use the computer for a bunch of different things like programming and watching hulu. I won't be playing games. I want the best bang for buck at $500, and I plan on overclocking, so factor in a good heatsink. I'm willing to go with Intel, but from my research, it looks like amd is cheaper. I plan on building as soon as i feel good about the parts.

Here's what i'm looking at:

Phenom II x2 555BE
MSI 880GM-E43 AM3 AMD 880G HDMI Micro ATX
OCZ Platinum 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600
Antec New Solution NSK3480

1. AMD HDZ955FBGMBOX: $159.99

2. MSI 890GXM-G65: $129.99

3. Kingston Technology Corp. KVR1333D3K2/4GR: $95.99

4. Antec Three Hundred + BP43: $89.95

Around $430.

There are certainly no guarantees of a future BIOS update but the 890gx with the sb850 chipset would be more likely to support BD Zambezi as opposed to the 880/710.
