I just purchased a Dell Precision Workstation 450. I came with some crappy ATI Radeon VE card. I need to get a new card for this box. Something with stable drivers that games well. The system has a 2.4Gz Xeon processor with a 533fsb and 1Gb of RAM. I am swapping the hard drive out for my 29160 and 10k SCSI drives. I believe that the AGP slot is 8x. I will be running Windows XP Pro. I have read a lot of reviews and seen a lot of ATI vs. Nvidia threads. I play Quake3 Arena, Unreal and want to play new games as they are released. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm looking to spend $250-$300.

Also, I got this workstation for about $430 after rebates and the trade up allowance I got for my old Kayak workstation, so don't hammer me for getting a Xeon over a P4 (at least not too hard).

Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer.
