New WMP9 ActiveX controll

The new WMP9 replaces the old 6.4 activeX controll with it's own vertion that has almost no features and does not work very well. It dows not even have the volume controll bar nor the quick jump bar of 6.4. The worst part is that since WMP9 cannot jump arround incomplete streams and srashes on slightly bad streams, watching any long brodcast is nearly impossoble, and apsolutely no chance to skipping ahead or resuming were you left offat a later time. Also this activeX controll removes any caching or notice of cahing like the bar in 6.4 filled up as more downloaded, as well as the ability to save cached files as with 6.4.

I was wondering if anybody knows how to force reinstall the old 6.4 activex contoll or somehow modify the WMP9 activex to allow for what I need which is cahing and fastforwarding through incomplete streamed files.
