New wireless network help please

I jsut set up another wireless network, this time for my dad and family.

Everything works fine. 3 computers and a laptop connected to the net via Linksys Wireless-B router (BEFWS11 or something like that)

All computers are up and browsing the net and they can see eachother.

AIM however is not working. When I try to connect it goes to "starting services", hangs for a bit and then says "Your buddy list is curretnly unavailable, please try again later."

WHats up with that? DO I need to open up a port in the router configuration?

well I just opened up the ports for AIM and it still doesnt work. This is for all the computers, not just one.

come on guys, need some help here. Is it a setting that is keeping from using AIM?

It seems like if I sign on with a screen name that hasnt been used before, it logs on fine, but if I log off, then log back on, it doesnt work.
