I'm getting ready to upgrade my Shuttle AK31A (which has been a heck of a good board) to a new Shuttle AN35N-Ultra. My question is this, I know I'm going to have to do a fresh install because the chipsets are different (VIA - nForce2, right?) and I'm wondering at what point in the install do I feed it the nVidia driver CD. I've purchased 2 sticks of 512MB Buffalo PC3200 with the Winbond CH-5 chips to go with this board. I also have an AMD 1700+ DLTC 0307 (1.5v) that I'm going to try while I wait for the Barton chips to drop some more.

Any other words of wisdom, advice or settings are greatly appreciated before I start my build.

Thanks in advance...

Definitely go with a fresh install and install XP and SP1 first, then the nVidia Forceware Unified drivers, then your favorite detonators or Cat's if using ATI, and then the latest Realtek audio drivers here as many of us have found them to work better than the nV audio drivers when using boards that have the MCP southbridge. I'd also avoid any driver available through the windows update since they often cause more problems than they address.
