I was across the street at the neighbours having a coffee with them and the husband who is a techie informed me of this new app he'd read about. It's called Wintoys and after showing it to me on his personal computer I got to reading about it after I walked back home. It's like the old god mode for windows but it's a centralised settings panel where you can change settings and look up modules and software and uninstall, suspend or refresh them. It's very cool. the drawback is it's only available on the windows store for windows 11as the dev has not compiled it into a standalone. If someone can find his email and ask if he'd ever compile it into a standalone installer for downloading outside of the windows store that would be nice of you. I would say this has 80-90% of the functionality of old windows in one app.
