New Windows XP Security Updates

Installed updates KB951748 and KB951978 on my work laptop today, no problems.

Installed them on my desktop tonight and after rebooting, I'm not able to connect to the internet. Uninstalled them and I have my internet connection back.

Any ideas why my laptop is fine but not my desktop?

There's a problem with Zone Alarm if you have that installed.

I do on my desktop. Do I need to reconfig something with Zone Alarm or just not install the updates?

edit - nvm. I went over to the ZoneAlarm forums. Looks like they're researching the issue and the current workaround is to turn down one's internet security to medium.
