new windows 7 update doesn't have the bar at the bottom with the icons?

Something went wrong.......the taskbar should always be there. There is no update that takes it away.

Sounds like you are in full screen mode.

Without the Taskbar, you have no Notification or Quick Launch area, nor open app images (Aero Peek.) The current Win 7 update does nothing at all to eliminate the Taskbar. Right click on your Start Button and checkout Properties. That should let you get back in control. Maybe Autohide got checked?

actually i changed the resolution and now i can see it again, lol
