This is weird. The monitor (28" Hanns-G) worked fine on my old XP machine.
What happens is this: After whatever time is set in Windows Power Settings, the monitor goes blank and says no connection found, but the back light will not turn off. It will not enter into stand by mode.
So it gets a signal that there is no signal, but not the one to enter standby??? WTF???
I have tried two different nVidia drivers with no change.
Anyone have a clue?
