Not to mention the 3dmark score of the Tbird was far too low. I get almost 5000 3dmarks on my Tbird 800mhz/GF SDR, they had Tbird 1.1GHz + GF2 GTS. Score of that config should be well in the 7000's range.

It'll be interesting to see how AMD-760/PC2100 + 1133MHz Tbird stacks up against a 1.4GHz Willy + dualchannel PC800 DRDRAM.

Did you happen to read Paul Demone's article linked from Ace's?

He's one of the most knowledgable people around who doesn't work for AMD or Intel...

Take his words with a grain of salt.

He believes P4 will beat PIII clock for clock and can back it up quite well. give it a read.
