I am not a practicing holy roller but I really would like some one to take this statement apart and tell me what it means...

The greatest atrocities ever committed on this planet have been in the name of God, This country was founded by Puritans, for the expressed purpose of oppression-free worship. Your attitude is the same arrogant, fearful fundamentalism that fueled the hatred of the Crusades & the attacks on 9/11. If we are not allowed to worship God as groups & individuals free from persecution, in respectful Tolerance, there's only one outcome...

Actually, I care what will smith has to say...

he is one of the very few famous black men who is not calling women b!tches and hoes, and looking to start race riots every time he gets a chance.

He is a very nice, down to earth good hearted kid... who happens to be very talented. ...he is what a role model should to be kids.

:)

To me a movie actor should NOT be a role model, there are teachers, other higher up pros that should do the job.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it means..

In West Philadelphia I was born and raised
On the playground is where I spent most of my days.
Chillin' out, maxin', relaxin all cool,
And all shootin' some b-ball outside of the school.

When a couple of guys who were up to no good,
Started makin' trouble in my neighborhood.
I got in one little fight and my mom got scared,
And said "You're movin' with your auntie and uncle in bel Air."

That would be wonderful, if it were possible.

unfortunately, in today's society... teachers are not ppl that are to be looked up to, or respected. They are not ppl who are to be looked to for guidance... they have no authority anymore. No respect.

Kids today are pretty much raised by MTV. And it shows. Sports stars are drug addicts and rapists, and Music stars are disrespectful and instigative.

:)

Somewhat true. Though the acts of Stalin, Pol Pot and Mao were among the greatest atrocities, and were not religiously motivated.

This country was founded by Puritans, for the expressed purpose of oppression-free worship.

True, but they ended up oppressing people themselves. It took the later age of enlightenment and the later generation of our Founding Fathers to gain the religious freedom we enjoy today.

I have no idea who he's talking about, or to. My opinion of this statement depends on who this is addressing.

Quiet, you. There's no place for logic in a religion hating thread.

the new cd with the song "switch" on it.. I bought it because of all the rumors of the down load bug... and it is track 5 or 6 I think... just memorized it because it seems like some thing that needed to be thought about... I do not believe in orignized religion... there are so many peeps that goto church and put up a good show and then go home and it is a all together difrent thing... Altho I do believe there is a higher power I just have not met the dude yet....
