new weezer song

Gibson486

Lifer
Bevery Hills....

Sounded good....almost reminded me of their old stuff, but i guess it is clostest we will get to it.

I'm a big Weezer fan, and I'm disappointed. I hope the rest of the album is different.

The "Gimme, gimme" part is annoying, like something Offspring would do.

I'm a weezer fan, and I liked it. The begining reminded me of "Pour Some Sugar on Me" though for some reason...haha

It's fvcking horrible, I now no longer give a sh!t about anything that band releases, and that's saying a lot since I loved their first two LPs very much.

It sounds like weezer mixed with good charlotte or some garbage, what happened Rivers?!

Pinterkton and Blue are amazingly good.

word.

i love me both of those.

some of their other tracks are catchy but i pretty much was done with them after a couple listens. i can still listen to the first two albums any time.
i think thier fourth album was the first time they ever had a solo that actually made me laugh out loud (in a good way) and it brought some hope to me but the rest of the album fell pretty flat. the solo on this track has the same sort of kitschy quality from the last album. catchy...could go either way in reference to a whole album.
the lyrics arnt really anything worth mentioning, though. which is sad. i think their lyrics were always teeny-bopper fodder but there was an absolute earnest quality about the whole thing that made it work.
we shall see but im sure many of their older fans have jumped ship by now.

I read on their official message board that while taping the video for this, some of the weezer fans asked Scott about how the rest of the album sounds compared to Beverly Hills. He mentioned that the record label wanted at least one type of song they could market as a radio hit, so I don't think you should write off this album just yet. Maybe there's hope...

"Pepperoni
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
In English, pepperoni refers to a spicy Italian-American variety of dry salami made of pork and beef. Pepperoni is a descendant of the spicy salamis of Italy, such as salsiccia Napoletana piccante, a spicy dry pork sausage from Naples. Pepperoni is frequently used as a pizza topping in American-style pizzerias. It is the most popular pizza topping in North America, present on at least 30% of all pizzas.

Pepperoni is a corruption of peperoni, the Italian plural of peperone, refering to the fruit of the capsicum. Ordering "peperoni" pizza in Italy is often an unwelcome surprise for North American tourists since throughout continental Europe, peperoni is the common word for the bell pepper. Unlike in Europe, the English word is used as a singular non-count noun.

It is also a popular flavor of potato chips.
