New webhost?

I have a blog that is hosted by anandtech fav ripplehost. I have grown tired of the lack of tech support (you get what you pay for) and have decided to switch hosts.

I have it narrowed down to bluehost and ipower. What do you think?

I have my own server.

But I can tell you this. I work for about 15 different hosting companies doing server admin work, 2 of them are within the top 10 hosts. Bigger/popular hosting services aren't always better, I find the smaller companies I work for are a lot better. My advice would be to look around on webhostingtalk.com, there is a wealth of information there and reviews on pretty much all hosts.

I believe Wolfsraider recently signed up for BlueHost.com

I love it ...I have put up 3 sites on bluehost.
I have contacted them 4 times by telephone and its never more than 2 rings for an answer.
They are very knowledgeable and helpful at least thats been my exp so far...
I got the least hits from google as well on problems with each host I searched..blue host had 1.
they had the best pings to the server as well half what most were.
Would I say I am satisfied...Absolutely.

The price features and service have been great...I have a 1and1 account as well...It blows one and one away as far as service (I am one that actually likes 1and1).I havent tried emailing them for anything support related as they are open during hours I can live with on service calls.

I have had 327000 hits to one site (not much I am sure and 250 unique addresses,I run a chat and a picture site(pics are just getting started) as well as the postnuke site

Thanks rossman and wolfstraider. I pretty sure that I wil go with bluehost. I've heard nothing but good things about them. I as well, like 1 on 1.
