New web page isn't working in /tomcat/webapps directory in Linux

You already had a thread... I mentioned use "ls", and that's what you need to do, figuratively or literally. No one here can see where files are at on your computer for you, look around.

Sorry, I don't really understand why u asked me to use "ls" ? My problem here is that the browser unable to connect to the new website. HTTP 404 not found. FYI, I am using a standalone Redhat Linux 7.3 server !!

These guys wrote a sloppy article, for instance on page 5 at the top they say
Save the file as theEnd.html in a new subdirectory of Tomcat's webapps directory called sitepoint.
But then later in the page they say
Save this as count.jsp in your new jsp directory alongside theEnd.html.

That doest make any sense. If its "alongside" theEnd.html, its not in your new "jsp" directory.

Tomcat is a god awful sh!t-nest of pointers, aliases, and redirection. Its extremely easy to get lost in it.

I'd reccomend signing up for their forum and clicking the "discuss this article" length. I bet somebody else corrected it.
