New weapon against spam?

from what I have gathered so far it is a "do not spam" list with a twist, If the spammers do not stop spamming the people on the list they start spamming the spammers. You can join the public beta and download their software which helps launch the DDOS attacks, or you can just register and forward them the spam mails that you get.

reminds me of the monty python spam song

Here is what they have to say about it:

"Is loss induction ethical?

Yes. Each member complains only about his or her spam. Complaints are verified and
metered to avoid harm to third parties. Warnings and opt-out mechanisms are provided to
ISPs and spamvertised sites. And, of course, bulk mailers and spammers can easily
comply with the Do Not Intrude Registry, clean their mailing lists and avoid loss induction
altogether."

I guess that has nothing to do with the legality of it however........

<---signed up.

I'm SO sick of "soft wear" / "Viagra" / "On line Meds" spams. :|

(I can live with the porn spams however. 😉 )
