I bought a new rig including a WD Caviar Black drive, and I was going to use the WD tools to set it up. The tools indicate support for WinXP/Vista Only.
I was thinking of using the Win7RC that I have waiting on my desk. Current drive is an XP pro SP2 image.
Any issues using the typical tools then installing Win7?
Or should I use Acronis to clone my old VP image, then upgrade to Win7? I'm pretty sure I'm OK, but wanted to see if anyone's BTDT.
