Just plugged it and looks good no stuck/dead pixels from newegg. I paid 329.00 for btw. Looking at the video properties should I run 60Hertz refresh rate or bumb it up to 70Hertz?

60Hz is fine, as the screen doesn't really "refresh" like a CRT anyway. Pixels are either on or off.

Ok thanks I'll kepp it at 60hertz. I set the monitor to sRGB and WOW all the colors look more life like much more than my old Dell M991 CRT monitor. Games like CSS Source I had to turn the ingame brightness way up though to see or else I got fragged to death.

So what do you other LCD user have colors set at? sRGB? 9300k? 6500k? Please share.

I have the color temperature set to 6500. I have Gamma set to 1.16 in the display properties under color control (Nvidia) to calibrate Gamma.
I have brightness set very low like 20% so that I can look at the screen! Otherwise, it will be too bright for me.

Hopefully you will feel the same way after a few hours staring at that bright screen!
Also, you may change your mind if you decide to play a dark game like Doom 3.
