? apparently, there leaked betas from the old 3dfx, don't know much about them, checkout the sites

They where for the voodoo6000.The work well on the 5500.I used them already two weeks ago got them from Nuangel.Dont try and uuse 8x fsaa though.

BW why not 8xfsaa, does it crash? older games of 640x480x16 can still take it!

It was not the fsaa it was the hsr. I coped and pasted this from the site.


Not only do I have the VIA leaked driver (the 'newer' of the two leaked drivers), but I think you might just want to download this driver... the one for the Voodoo 5 6000!!! That's right, the V56K (Quantum3D Alchemy X4)! This driver also works on other VSA-100 cards (Voodoo 4 4500, 5 5500, and 6000). Hidden Surface Removal is automatically activated upon installation of a 6000 driver - it is strongly recommended you do not use this setting without the hardware specs of the 6000

I didnt like the V56k's V-refresh was AFU but new x3dfx drivers seem good. I would add more but Im a Simguy I dont even own UT. I can say Framerates in FS2k did go up a touch.

V5 5500 isn't physically capable of 8xfsaa. It does 2x per vsa100 chip max.
