Though of course that is for a single host. Without another host and vCenter, you don't get HA, DRS, distributed switches, or cloning from the gui (cloning being a big one). Definitely the only reason I use ESXi is because work gives me enough free licenses for 5.5 that I can run with all the bells and whistles.
