New Video Reviews?

Well, it's been quite a while since the last video review was posted (listed as May 12). Since then there have been a couple key driver updates, and people are saying they've noticed improvements in games, would it be pheasible to do an R3x0 v NV3x roundup, that would cover the R9x00 series and the GeForce FX line? I for one would like to see one review with these cards all in the same review, compared for simplicity's sake. Some sort of overall "this is your best chip for this market segment" comment for budget, mid-range, and high-end cards would be handy as well.

Would be nice to see such a review, but spanning three different systems. A low end machine, mid range and high end, with all the video cards.

I'd love to see low- and mid-end cards compared on a 1.7-2.0GHz machine, and mid- and high-end cards compared on a 2.5+GHz machine. Mainly, it would reduce the number of "5200 vs. 9000/9100/9200?" and "5900 vs. 9800?" threads. 🙂

It would be nice to see some Matrox cards in the reviews too... at least just to see how it's performance compares.

AND Overclocked 9600 Pro and 9500 Pro comparisons... I'm still undecided as to which one to get this fall when I grab another "value" card.

i secound the vote for matrox cards, i hear new drivers for them increased performance for them by a decent margin

That was why I asked. I looked at the first three pages of video threads, and there were like, easily over a dozen threads asking basically the same question.
