I didn't say it ran slower, it just seems to drop into the 30's more often on this card.

I usually use different fsaa options for games, like older games that don't have in game fsaa I like to force fsaa thru the control panel and in some new games the 4870 1gb is too slow to use any fsaa so I have to change the settings. It's just horribly annoying to have to change this every time before you play different games. Some games also don't work when you force fsaa until ati updates the drivers unlike the forcewares where you can make your own profile and it usually will work. The forceware drivers also have other options like supersampling fsaa which are not present in the craptastic catalyst drivers. The noise produced by the fan while gaming is ridiculous, the gpu runs at a pretty hot 95-97c and its not even summer yet :S.
