New Video Cards for AGP users?

I haven't been following the new cards, so I'd appreciate some help.

I plan to ugrade my video card around October, but I don't want to upgrade my processor/ram/etc. (Well, that's not true -- I may up my RAM to about 2mb at the same time.)

My specs:

AMD 64 3200
1gigabyte of PC3200
ATI 9800 PRO

I'm interested in keeping things mostly the same for another year to year and a half or so before I start saving for my next complete machine upgrade.

Any advice on what's coming? SHould I wait until there's a price drop on, say, existing hardware such as the 6800gt or Ultra? Or is there something even better coming out that will fit on an AGP motherboard? I really have neither the funds nor the will for a processor/motherboard/RAM upgrade to go with a new video card.

My thanks,

Brian

well, a 6800gt is the best option for you. don't get the 7800 because you will want to wait for your next pci-e computer to get it. if you want to wait that long to upgrade, get a good card.
